That whole idea of taking a beloved character or story and writing something new is so fascinating to me. I love Geraldine Brook's March and I'm excited to read Life After Life. But this one never quite struck me as needed...Lindseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00333927782181943347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647764256243880883.post-18005809345934774412015-05-05T21:23:02.058-04:002015-05-05T21:23:02.058-04:00I haven't read either of these books, but the ...I haven't read either of these books, but the reviews I've read have expressed similar thoughts. I haven't read either yet but I do own Harold Fry so will get to it eventually. I have heard the audio for both are very good. I'm sure I've read other companion books in the past but my mind is too foggy to remember any! All I can immediately think of is Mrs. Dalloway and The Hours but those are two entirely different authors!Trish @ Love, Laughter, Insanityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17225576485797030511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647764256243880883.post-6029967772486102642015-05-05T12:34:28.462-04:002015-05-05T12:34:28.462-04:00Yeah, I keep hearing the same thing. But I keep hearing that there's no real companion about it...apparently it's not as linked as it's being marketed to be. ;) That's not too shocking, marketing for books is wrong a lot of the time in my opinion, lol.The Relentless Readerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07059240496186812005noreply@blogger.com
