November Wrap-Up

Goodbye, November! You were sort of a reading slump to be honest and I have great hopes for December. But I am happy that I met my Goodreads goal for the year. I decided to try to read 100 books and I have accomplished that with one month still to go. Hooray!

Books Reviewed in November: 7
Pages Read: 2,175
Fiction/Non-fiction: 6/1
Female authors/male authors: 3/4
My books/library books: 5/2
Lindsey's favorite book in November: People of the Book (but I really enjoyed The Imperfectionists and Wish You Were Here too)

Books reviewed by David: 3
David's favorite book in November: The Boxcar Children (we are currently on book #4!)

What was your favorite book in November?

  1. Yay on meeting Goodreads goals! I met mine, too, in November which helped to make up for the semi-slump. Seems like a lot of us were in the doldrums in November.

    1. It was strange. I was still reading, but I didn't have my usual desire to read all the time or read every book I came across.
Congrats on meeting your Goodreads goal!

  2. People of the Book was good. I finished Caleb's Crossing by Brooks last month which was also good. Congrats on meeting your reading goal. I don't think I'm going to make my goal this year. I read a lot of chunksters last year, so it's possible that I read the same amount of pages as the previous year.

    1. It's all sort of ambiguous, isn't it? Someone could read several hundred short YA books or only a few doorstoppers and end up reading the same number of pages!
For me, it's really just a personal gauge. I'm also keeping track of number of pages, so we will see what happens at the end of the year! It will be interesting to compare this year with next year.

  3. I'm going to have to set myself up with a goal for 2013. I didn't do so this year because I've only been blogging for 6 months :) Congrats on meeting your goal Lindsey!

    1. Thanks Jennifer! It was my first year doing it and it was interesting. I realized that I really had no idea how many books I had read in previous years!
