Happy 2014!

1a

Happy New Year! May 2014 be a great year for all of us, filled with lots of excellent reading.

I'm starting the year off with The Arabian Nights (and a cup of coffee, of course). Hop on over to Book Journey and see what other books are the first reads of 2014!

  1. Oooohhh! Great choice. That's a book I've not yet read. I think it's on my 1001 Children's Books list. Enjoy.

    1. I'm really excited to read them. One of my favorite books as a girl was a novel about Scheherazade and her sister (although I can't remember what it was called now!).

  11. Hope you are enjoying your book (and your coffee)! I'm a tea drinker myself and with this cold weather we're having, I've been drinking tea non-stop!

Anyway, Happy New Year! And good luck with the upcoming snow storm!

    1. I tend to be a coffee drinker unless I am not feeling well and then I go between tea and coffee! There is nothing like a cup of tea with honey to make a sore throat feel better.

Happy New Year! I hope you are staying warm in this crazy snow storm!

    1. Thank you Elizabeth. There is something wonderful about really losing yourself in a big book on a snowy day, isn't there?
