What was the best book you read in the month of December?
Have a great new year Lindsey. My favorite December read was Night Film by Marisha Pessl.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ciska! Night Film was definitely a great read.
DeleteNice to know that you had a wonderful reading month in December, Lindsey. Congratulations on reading 110 books last year! You are an inspiration to readers like me. Hope you are enjoying the first days of the New Year.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vishy. It was a close call!
DeleteI hope your New Year is off to a wonderful start.
Best book read in December...hmm...probably The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley followed closely by Trapped by Michael Northrop. But I've got a stack of books to read this month that I'm really excited about. How about you?
ReplyDeleteThe Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie is great. I have to catch up on my Flavia books!
DeleteHmm..for January, I'm excited to start working through all of my Christmas books!
Those children are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you: Ann Patchett's essay book was the best book I read in December.
I kind of like them myself. :)
DeleteI'm pretty sure Patchett could write about grocery shopping or sweeping the floor and I would be riveted.
My best book of December is non-fiction,"Victoria's Daughters" by Jerrold M. Packard. Not for everyone, I know, but it was an engrossing long read for me. Darling children in the pic. Thanks for visiting my blog! Happy New Year!
ReplyDelete:)
Thanks for visiting me! Long books seem perfect for the winter, don't they?
