It's Monday and spring is not far away!

Hello friends! I hope you all had a wonderful week. I am in love with this weather. All of the windows are open and we are walking to the library and playing outside again. If you want to tell me about snow coming this way or that we still have a few weeks of winter left, I am going to cover my ears and sing. Thanks anyway.

Bookwise, this wasn't my best week but my reading always slow down a bit when I am reading non-fiction. Am I the only one?

Read This Week:
The Stranger You Know (Forensic Instincts #3)
By Andrea Kane

Posts from this Past Week:

Reading Now:
Careless People: Murder, Mayhem, and the Invention of The Great Gatsby
By Sarah Churchwell

Up Next:
The Lost Sisterhood
The Lost Sisterhood
By Anne Fortier

  1. Love the covers for Careless People and The Lost Sisterhood. Even The Stranger You Know keeps encouraging me to go back and look again! You can check out my Monday here http://kyliesreads.blogspot.com.au/2014/03/its-monday-what-are-you-reading_10.html

    1. Thank goodness! All of that cold, bleak weather can really get you down.

  4. Nonfiction slows me down too. That is why I seldom read it. I'm glad your weather is nice. I want nice weather too! Come see my Monday Report if you get a chance. Happy reading!

    1. I enjoy nonfiction, but I always feel like I should be reading it faster! I'm glad to know I'm not alone in that.

    1. I didn't love the book, but maybe it was because I started in the middle of the series!

  6. Spring is trying to arrive here too, it's in the mid-40's but sunny and feels warmer than that. Finally! A nice day...

I do think I read nonfiction slower too, unless it's something I'm really into. Enjoy your week!

    1. At this point, the temperature gets above thirty and I'm trying to open windows and unpack t shirts! :)

I usually enjoy nonfiction and this book I'm reading right now has some fascinating information. I think I always have the knowledge in the back of my mind that I could have read two or three novels in the same time!

  8. Ooohhh these all look great!

I love spring here in the desert but then I cringe because that means brutal heat is so so so so near...

    1. I have to laugh at all of the people griping about the snow now and wonder which ones of them will be complaining about the heat in just a few weeks!
