It's Monday and I'm back!

Hey friends.

I'm back from visiting my best friend. We had a really great time playing games, talking, shopping, and, of course, eating. She took me to this crepe place. I'm pretty sure we should all eat crepes every day.

Now it's back to real life. It's time to change diapers, pack school lunches, and hopefully get some reading done in the meantime! What are you up to this week?

    1. Nicholls seems to be very interested in longtime relationships in One Day and then in Us. They certainly make for good stories!

    1. I think I'm going to be on the lookout for a place close to me now. :) Although finding one would probably be bad news for me and my wallet....

  5. I've been reading a lot of nonfiction for Nonfiction November, although I haven't read So We Read On. I think I'm itching to get back to some good novels . . . :)

  6. And Then There Were None-- excellent classic! I should reread it. Glad you had a fun "me" vacation. It makes us appreciate our family more when we get a chance to get away from them for a bit. :)
I'm reading Fallen by Leslie Tentler-- a riveting police/hospital procedural that takes place in Atlanta during a hot summer, and someone is slowly picking off cops for no apparent reason. It's recommended, though I'm not done yet.

    1. It does indeed! I feel like I have some new perspective on my kids and the daily routine after being away. :)

Sometimes it's good to read books that our are out of season! A hot summer sounds lovely right about now (although I would have to pass on the murders...).
