It's Monday and I really need to write some reviews!

Hey bookish people! I didn't write a single post this week. Sigh. This is becoming a pattern far more often than I would like. We spent much of the week prepping for my husband's friends and their son to visit. They spent the weekend here and husband took them to the airport very early this morning.

So now it's back to the regular schedule. I guess I can always share the books I'm reading with you all, even if I have no reviews to speak of!

This week, I read By Any Name and Seven: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess

Now I'm reading The Hate U Give.

What are you reading this week?

  1. Nothing wrong with a no-review week when life is busy. Hope you had fun with your weekend visitors!

    1. It was nice having them here! This week, though, my introvert self is happy to have a relatively quieter house.

  2. I'm SO behind on writing reviews. Sometimes life just gets in the way! ;-) I hope you're enjoying The Hate U Give. It's on my list to read soon.

  4. Yes, by all means, share the books, even if you are behind on blogging/reviewing :) It's always nice to hear what you are reading. I haven't heard much about these two - enjoy!

  5. I've been slacking on the blog front too -- life just gets in the way sometimes! I'll be anxious to see what you think of "The Hate U Give." It seems to be THE book of the moment in the blogging community.

    1. I always start the week with the best of intentions and a plan for posts that week. And then life happens...

I think The Hate U Give deserves that position for sure!

  8. I really want to read The Hate You Give. I have heard so much about it.

~ about How to Hygge~ I wouldn't recommend that particular book to you, as it was more of an intro to the lifestyle/explanation of hygge. :) I don't think you would get anything new out of it. I just received my new hygge book in the mail, and I am excited to dive in. It looks like there is a list of different ideas, but I will report more on that later! :)
