It's Readathon Time - post three

I know, I know - the Readathon ended about 6 hours ago. But when you have to get two little people to church on a Sunday morning, it doesn't leave a lot of time for leisurely blogging!

The Readathon is over and I only read one book. But considering the two kids, the harvest fair, and the house full of people, I think that's pretty good! I read a bit in the morning and then burned the midnight oil to finish Rose Under Fire before hitting the hay.

1. Which hour was most daunting for you? The hours when there were other things going on and I couldn't read! 
2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? The Color Master, Fairest of Them All, The Thursday Next series 
3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? Nope, you are all awesome! 
4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? Things seemed very organized this year. 
5. How many books did you read? Just one.

9. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time? 100% chance of Readathoning happening in April. If my day is a little freer, I would like to read and cheer! 

It's Readathon Time - post two

Man, it's been a long day! There were lots of people at my house plus the usual two kids. We went to our town's fall festival and celebrated my sister's birthday. Now the house is quiet and the kids are asleep and I am going to try to get some reading in before this day is done! 

I am currently on page 106 of Rose Under Fire. 250 pages or so to go!

Time for quick mini challenge to get back into the swing of things....

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? The lovely state of NJ

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? Rose Under Fire....that's really as far as I got in the book planning. When I finish that, it's going to be a random grab from the bookshelves!

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? I made cookies. The only question is whether we are eating pumpkin or peanut butter first...

4) Tell us a little something about yourself! When I grow up, I want to be Veronica Mars.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? I have a zillion things happening today, but I'm still going to try to get some reading done! Sigh...
