Hello again, guys and gals! What's shaking? I knew that I could not possibly match the amount of books I read last week (four, in case you were wondering) and I was right. This week I read one book and I am about halfway through another. I am ok with that. Some weeks you actually have to sleep instead of staying up until 2 a.m. to finish the book!
Make sure you come back tomorrow, because I have something super exciting to tell you! Until then, I present to you the books.
Read This Week:
By Jasper Fforde
Posts from this Past Week:
Reviews of The Turn of the Screw and Daisy Miller and The Magicians
Reading Now:

Up Next:

What are you reading this week?
It is hard to believe it's July already! Have a great reading week.
ReplyDeleteJune went by very quickly, didn't it? You have a great week too!
DeleteI read The Eyre Affair a few years ago. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite read last week was The Bride's Kimono by Sujata Massey. Please come see what else I'm reading.
Thank you! Happy reading to you too.
DeleteThe Irresistable Henry House looks like such a good read I've added it to my TBR list :) Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteHere's my It's Monday! Post :)
-Kimberly @ Turning The Pages
I'm excited to read it. This is the first time I've been to the library in a while - I've been trying to read through my personal to-be-read shelf.
DeleteThe Eyre Affair sounds really interesting. I love books about books. I haven't read Jane Eyre before though, and it sounds like I might want to before reading this.
ReplyDeleteThe author is so creative! I think it would be helpful to read Jane Eyre, but I think you would understand even if you have not read it.
DeleteWho has to sleep instead of staying up reading? I'm lucky enough to be on vacation. I remember reading The Chosen and really liking the view into that world which is so alien from mine. I hope you enjoy it. My Monday Report is here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying it so far. I'm finding I have to be in a certain mood to really read more than a few pages, though.
DeleteI listened to the Eyre Affair on audio and enjoyed it. Hope you have a great reading week.
ReplyDeleteI really liked it. I'm interested to see what else happens in the series!
DeleteIsn't it funny how our reading fluctuates from week to week?
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the books you have this week - will have to come back and read your reviews of them to see if they are my type of books.
Have a great week (and I'm so curious about your surprise for tomorrow that I will definitely be back!)
Kristin @ Always With a Book
Thanks Kristin! I hope you have a wonderful week too.
DeleteHot and 100+ degrees where I'm at...so crazy that's it July but the weather definitely lets us know it!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading this week :) The Brunette Librarian Blog
I know - Usually I sit out on the porch while the little guy rides his bike in the driveway, but this week we have been inside in the AC. Keep cool!
DeleteI haven't read The Eyre Affair yet, but I rate Jane Eyre as one of my fave top ten books, so maybe I should give this one a go! :)
ReplyDeleteI think you would enjoy it. It gave me a different perspective on Rochester that I really liked.
