December Wrap-Up

December was one of those months that went very quickly, but felt very long. Christmas was nice, but I have to admit that the days following Christmas were the most relaxing. Sometimes you just need to sit around in pajamas, read, and eat Christmas cookies.

Now it's time to turn our attention to a new month, a new year and lots of new things to read! But first, December in books...

  3. Best book read in December...hmm...probably The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley followed closely by Trapped by Michael Northrop. But I've got a stack of books to read this month that I'm really excited about. How about you?

I'm with you: Ann Patchett's essay book was the best book I read in December.

    1. I kind of like them myself. :)

I'm pretty sure Patchett could write about grocery shopping or sweeping the floor and I would be riveted.

  5. My best book of December is non-fiction,"Victoria's Daughters" by Jerrold M. Packard. Not for everyone, I know, but it was an engrossing long read for me. Darling children in the pic. Thanks for visiting my blog! Happy New Year!
