Thanks so much Jade! It was a good trip, but I don't know that I would recommend such a short turnaround time!
DeleteMy favorite April read is a tie between Elizabeth von Arnim's Enchanted April and Simone St. James' latest ghost story, Silence for the Dead. It was a good month for books. Hope you have a super time in Florida!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read either one. I will have to look them up!
DeleteYep, 8 books sounds about right, since you dependably read two books a week. (Follow you on Goodreads, much? Yes :)) I love that picture of you and Daniel! And my favorite April read was All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Really poignant and beautifully written.
ReplyDeleteHaha, it's like you know what I do or something....:)
DeleteI've heard great things about All the Light We Cannot See. I think I have to jump onto the bandwagon!
And May I add - hurray for your Florida vacation! When I went earlier this month I read 3.5 books in 5 days and it was glorious :)
ReplyDeleteI managed to read two books and start a third, so I think that's pretty good for four days away. There's something so wonderful about vacation reading. :)
