April Wrap-Up

April was a good and crazy month! We celebrated Easter in typical big family style. I participated in Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon. At the end of the month, I celebrated my birthday. A girl can't complain about all of that celebrating!

Now the hubby and I are starting May off right by jetting down to Florida for a few days. Woohoo!

    1. Thanks so much Jade! It was a good trip, but I don't know that I would recommend such a short turnaround time!

  2. My favorite April read is a tie between Elizabeth von Arnim's Enchanted April and Simone St. James' latest ghost story, Silence for the Dead. It was a good month for books. Hope you have a super time in Florida!!

  3. Yep, 8 books sounds about right, since you dependably read two books a week. (Follow you on Goodreads, much? Yes :)) I love that picture of you and Daniel! And my favorite April read was All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Really poignant and beautifully written.

I've heard great things about All the Light We Cannot See. I think I have to jump onto the bandwagon!

  4. And May I add - hurray for your Florida vacation! When I went earlier this month I read 3.5 books in 5 days and it was glorious :)

    1. I managed to read two books and start a third, so I think that's pretty good for four days away. There's something so wonderful about vacation reading. :)
