It's Monday and it's been a long week...

Hi friends. How are you?
I think the best word to sum up how I'm feeling right now is weary. It's been one of those weeks where you just feel in constant motion. When you add that to everything that has been going on in the news this week, I feel like pulling the family in close and making this Monday slow and quiet (as much as is possible with two kids, anyhow).

    1. Life After Life? I loved that one!
Started Early, Took My Dog is the fourth (and last?) Jackson Brodie book. I think it was published in 2010 or 2011.

    1. If you are interested, you could start with that book or you could pick up the first in the series - Case Histories. I think you could go either way. You wouldn't be confused if you just read Started Early, Took My Dog.

A Guide to Being Born was quite good. There is one story in particular that I can't get out of my head a week later.

    1. Holds are so funny. I feel like sometimes they take forever and sometimes I wish they would go a bit slower because I suddenly have five books at once!

    1. I understand what you mean about the ending. I felt like I could have gone back and re-read for some clarification, but it was due back at the library and honestly I didn't love it enough for a re-read.

    1. I am enjoying the Kate Atkinson, although I think the previous book was my favorite of the series.

I was sort of meh about The Other Typist, but it might be because I've read several books in the past year or so with similar plots.
