It's been two weeks since I did one of these posts. In the meantime, I went on a week-long cruise to the Bahamas and Disney World and then I participated in an abridged Readathon this past Saturday.
Vacation time plus Readathon means that I've gotten a lot of reading done lately. Here are the books I've read:
Now I'm planning to read Alice Hoffman's new novel Faithful and then catch up on the latest edition of Saga if it arrives at my library in the next few days.
What are you reading this week?
Such a fun trip for your family, and a lovely photo! We had passes to Disney World when we lived in FL and the kids were young, but haven't been in ages.
ReplyDeleteI read Faithful and while it is classic Hoffman and wonderful, it is also a bit sad. I haven't read the others, but am interested in the Maria Semple, and for nonfiction, Sing For Your Life intrigues. Enjoy the week!
Disneyworld is one of my dream vacations - my parents actually went when they were still childless, but never went back with me! I did manage to get to Disneyland with friends when we were in our early twenties, and it was still pretty darn magical. :D
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed Disney World, it is on my wishlist to take my family one day! What a great setting to get some reading done.
ReplyDeleteI am keen to get in Commonwealth and I also love Susanna Kearsley. The rest of your book haul looks fantastic.
Have a lovely week!

ReplyDeleteLots of great titles read... Now to write the reviews :-P
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday, Lindsey. A cruise and Disneyworld tagged on - that's what you call a dream holiday right there!
Have a great week, and happy reading!

ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like a wonderful vacation! And so many amazing books! I'd like to read all of those - I love the extra reading time on vacation, with none of the usual daily obligations.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books this week & welcome home!
