Hi there and a very happy Easter or Passover to you! We had a great weekend around here. I got some reading done as well as some work on a few freelance projects currently on my desk. On Sunday, the Easter Bunny paid a visit, we went to church, and then had a big lunch with my family before visiting the husband's family. We are a well-fed, tired bunch! Wait...you want some pictures? Well, alright...
Ok, enough with the pictures. I get it. Book Time!

DeleteThe photos are lovely, you look like a very happy family. The first one of your son is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteI read Song of Achilles this week, and it was absolutely amazing. I didn't think I liked Greek mythology until I read it. And now I'm about half way through Tom Sawyer.
Thank you so much! We do love to throw a big party for Easter. :)
DeleteI read a great review for Song of Achilles last week. I'm on my way to see what you thought.

Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
That cover is beautiful, isn't it? Personally I can never find the time to traipse through the woods in a ball gown.. :)
DeleteWhat a wonderful family picture!!!!
ReplyDeleteAs for your books American Rose looks good to me!
Have an awesome week!
Thank you!
DeleteThe parts about Gypsy Rose Lee herself were really interesting. That was certainly a fascinating, dysfunctional little family.
*SIGH* I just added Oracle Night and Q to my ever growing TBR list!!
ReplyDeletePopped over here to visit from It's Monday...

DeleteBusy busy week! Looks like you had a good time though.

Wishing you a great reading week,
Shelleyrae @ Book'd Out
Thank you! I am looking forward to reading Oracle Night.
DeleteI just bought Half Blood Blues as I want to read a few of the Orange longlisted books, but just had a look at your review and I'm sorry to see you didn't like it so much. Maybe I'll save it and read some more of the others first.
ReplyDeleteI liked it, I just didn't love it the way I hoped I would. That's a great idea to read a bunch of the Orange Award nominated books!
DeleteOoh, I loved Entwined. I'm a sucker for fairy tale retellings, I'm learning.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time with your family! I hope the week greets you with fantastic books.
I am a sucker for retellings as well! I hope you have a great week and great books. :)
DeleteGreat list of books. I read Oracle Night years ago. I remember enjoying it but that's about all I remember. Funny how my memory isn't that great with some books.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy!
I am terrible at remembering details of books too! That is one of the reasons I started blogging. In ten or twenty years, I want to remember which books I loved and why.
DeleteSuch cute pictures! And American Rose and Q looks good:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I will be posting my reviews on those two tomorrow and Friday. :)
