What are you reading this week?
The nap sounds good and so do the books you have listed. Come see my Monday Report if you get a chance. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteNaps are such a happy thing (and so necessary sometimes)!
DeleteOh boy yes, a long and tiring week for me too!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't read anything by Joyce Carol Oates, but I have one of hers now so I should be able to fix that. I hear she's very good?
It seems that a lot of people had a long week!
DeleteThis is my first time reading Oates. She's one of those authors I can't believe I haven't read before!
I've not posted for a week and it seems like ages. I like visiting the blogs and seeing what everyone has got though. Your list is new and nice!
ReplyDeleteTime is funny online, isn't it? I hope you enjoyed your week off!
DeleteHope you get an extra long nap! One of my favorite things to do.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we appreciate naps when we are kids and are able to have them all the time?!?
DeleteAccurate post is accurate! I'm so glad to have Monday off to rest up a bit. Looks like you have some good reads coming up :)
ReplyDeleteI think readathoning should always be followed with napathoning. :)
DeleteMmm a nap is so tempting!
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week (after that nap of course)
Shelleyrae @ Book'd Out
Thanks Shelleyrae! I hope you have a great week too and maybe find time for a nap yourself. :)
DeleteTired here, too. Enjoy your nap. I'm off to a day of inservices.
ReplyDeleteHere's my It's Monday!
My district has an In-Service day today too.
DeleteEnjoy the day.
I hope your day was a good one, Deb!
DeleteEnjoy the nap! I just bought something by Oates and I'm excited to start my first novel by her soon.

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
Thanks Elizabeth. I love Michael Cunningham's writing. I hope you have a great week too!
DeleteI wanted to participate in the readathon this past week, but with having just got a new puppy, I knew I wouldn't be able to.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week and get in your naps!!!
~Kristin @ Always With a Book
Congrats on your new puppy! How is it going?
DeleteWoke up to a steady rain this morning. It will turn to snow later. A good day for a nap and a good long read. I'm with ya!
ReplyDeleteRainy days are perfect for reading. I hope you enjoy your books and nap!
DeleteHope you will get some rest soon. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI am interested in your thoughts on We Were The Mulvaneys. I saw this title a few years back but hesitated to pick it up. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big book, but it's good so far! I hope you have a great week. :)
DeleteI've been wanting to try Joyce Carol Oates, too. I almost bought her memoir about losing her husband suddenly, but I was afraid it would be really depressing. I may still pick it up.
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like it would be a tough read. There are so many writers I still haven't read!!
DeleteOmgosh, a nap sounds wonderful right now! I finally finished two papers so I think I can treat myself to one :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out what I read this week!

You definitely deserve a nap! Maybe you should have two naps (you did finish two papers....).
DeleteEnjoy your nap and your books!
ReplyDeleteThank you Julie!
DeleteI understand all the exhaustion. I think it's going to take me a while to recover from Saturday's readathon ;) What a great time though! I hope you're enjoying that Oates, that's one of my faves!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you loved We Were the Mulvaneys. Which of her books have you read?
DeleteTHANKS for stopping by my post. I hope you get to read DOLLFACE. It was good. My review will be up on November 5.
