It was quite the week around here. There was a lot of secretive planning and shopping going on in addition to the normal everyday stuff. On Saturday, my sister and mom came over to go shopping with BG and me for a flower girl dress. But that didn't quite happen. Instead, my sister opened the door to find several out of town relatives, a house full of people, and a surprise bridal shower. It was so much fun and I'm thrilled that we were able to keep everything under wraps.
Reading-wise this week. I'm trying to stick to books that I can dip in and out of while I catch up on lots of things. I'm looking forward to another fabulous weekend - namely, my birthday and the 24 Hour Readathon. Hooray!

What are you reading this week?
Sounds like a fun week! A surprise bridal shower is very cool. And happy birthday!! Have a good week of reading.
ReplyDeleteIt was a lot of fun! It's tricky to know until the exact moment if it is actually a secret or not.
DeleteThanks Julie!
A surprise bridal shower is a pretty impressive thing to pull off! A birthday and a read-a-thon in one week? Life doesn't get much better than that! :)
ReplyDeleteI know! I'm pretty excited for this weekend. :)
DeleteNice surprise! I hope to participate in the RAT, probably mostly cheerleading.
ReplyDeleteI will be cheering too! I can't believe how many readers we have vs. how many cheerleaders. Yikes!
DeleteA surprise bridal shower is awesome!! Fun :) Finding Jake sounds really intriguing. Hope you enjoy that!
ReplyDeleteIt was a tough read but I ultimately liked it quite a bit. Something is brewing in my brain for a blog post about why it's important to read things that make you uncomfortable...
DeleteWhat a fun week! Keeping surprises is always hard so props to you guys.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have quite the weekend ahead of you too. I hope you have a lovely birthday!
:-)
