It's Monday and the reading was good!


I think I have a Readathon/birthday hangover. I'm going to need a lot of coffee today. But it was a really great weekend!


Read This Week:
100 Days of Real Food: How We Did It, What We Learned, and 100 Easy, Wholesome Recipes Your Family Will Love  Glaciers   Tiger Lily

                               Seconds  Saga Deluxe Edition, Volume 1


This week, I will probably try to finish the books I didn't finish during the Readathon (The Best American Short Stories of 2013 and The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage) and maybe tackle one of my library books:
                               My Brilliant Friend  Scary Close: Dropping the Act and Finding True Intimacy

    I've got two books from the readathon that I only got halfway through. Now, which one to finish up first? :) Hope you recover quickly!

      Readathon hangover is tough! I also find that I have trouble reading in the days right after because I just read so much.

    I'm interested in hearing what you thought of Saga. I think I'm going to read a few of the most challenged books from last year and was considering that one. I've already read a few of them so I thought it would be fun to read a few more!

      I really enjoyed it. I thought I would just read a few, but I ended up reading straight through the entire collection!

    I didn't officially join in, but I did spend my Saturday tackling a stack of comics and some shorter books for reluctant YA readers. Did you like Saga? I haven't read it yet.

    Jumping into Ferrante!?! I've been so curious (and even checked the first one out of the library), but just haven't made the leap yet. Excited to see what you think.

    I also had an extreme case of readathon hangover, but so glad that we participated! Sounds like you had a great reading weekend for sure :)
