It's Monday and I want a nap!


I am suffering from a serious case of the Mondays this morning. I want to crawl back in bed with a book or two, but there is a very long to-do list to tackle. And of course, a toddler who seems to want to be fed and played with and cared for. Weird, right?

Is everyone signed up for the 24 Hour Readathon?? It takes place on Saturday, April 25 and you can read for the whole 24 hours or just a few! You can sign up here. I just might come visit and cheer you on during the readathon!

    I have not signed up for the Readathon. I often do and then I only end up reading a few hours. It's hard for me to hide from the family for 24 hours!!! Enjoy your books this week!

      I know how you feel! I don't think I've ever read 24 hours, but I have fit in a few good stretches. :)

    We are away for a four-day Regional competition which doesn't end until 9 or 10 at night on Saturday. I'm going to be pooped. I really loved doing my first read a thon last fall. Spring is just crazy busy.

      It sounds busy indeed! I really appreciate that there are two readathons - I think it gives more people the opportunity to participate.

    Mondays are so annoying sometimes, aren't they? I always feel like I should stay in bed and sleep in like on weekends!! Alas, no can do. Great books there though. and I have signed up for the readathon. I am so excited. It's my favorite book event all year!

    I am looking forward to the readathon so much! Schedule is cleared, just need to figure out what books I'm going to read. It's one of the best days all year! :)
