  1. I haven't read any books by these authors. I'm going to check them out. I'm not a huge fan of short story collections, but Vampires in the Lemon Grove sounds really interesting.

  2. Oh my word, you will adore Pastrix! (I sure did) I really need to get my hands on a copy of Accidental Saints. We talked about it on The Socratic Salon..well, some of us did. I haven't read it yet, obviously ;)

Swamplandia! Get to that one ASAP. It was incredible.

    1. I think Pastrix just might meet any gift card that ends up under my Christmas tree...

I am interested in Swamplandia!, but I have to confess I didn't fall head over heels for the short story that apparently was the starting point. Have you read it?

    1. I think it's the best part of finding a new author! Debut authors are wonderful, but knowing that there are more books to read is the best. :)

    1. Knisley is great! I know she has several other books, but I think I've heard the best buzz about An Age of License. Have you read that one?

    1. Well maybe I picked the wrong Knisley to read next! Realistically, I will probably read whichever one my library can get to me the fastest. :)
