The First Book of 2016

Hi friends, I'm just popping in for a minute to join up with Sheila to tell you about our first books of the year!

I'm beginning with When Women Were Birds, which has been sitting on my bookshelf for a year or two. I've heard very high praise for this book about relationships and what it means to have a voice.

The kids wanted to join in too, so here they are with the first books they read in 2016!

Happy New Year, friends! I will be back on Monday with a full week of books reviews and a 2015 wrap-up post.

  18. Your son's first book was an Animorph! My son ran though just about all of those when he was in elementary school. Now he's a junior in high school and still a read-a-hollc.
